“DUST THOU ART AND UNTO DUST SHALL THOU RETURN”– KAVOD HAMET
(“The Honor Given To The Departed”)
It is a fundamental principle of Jewish law and tradition to accord honor and dignity to the departed in making arrangements for his/her funeral and burial. This mitzvah applies to members of the community if the deceased has no family to tend to burial. How much more so is it incumbent upon loved ones to do everything in their power to make certain that all funeral and burial arrangements are made keeping in mind the honor to the deceased.
The Memorial Park is open 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. during Daylight Savings Time) Sunday-Friday.
We are closed on Shabbat and on all major Jewish holidays. All burials must be in accordance with traditional Jewish law.
