The Main Sanctuary Shabbat Morning service is a deeply moving, spiritual and participatory service. The service itself has historic roots in the city of Denver tracing back to the very beginning of BMH-BJ in the late 1800s and yet it is utterly modern and contemporary while maintaining the sanctity of tradition. The congregation is led in prayer by the world renowned member of our clergy, Cantor Joel Lichterman, and a weekly timely and relevant sermon is offered by our senior rabbi, Rabbi Ben Greenberg, formerly the rabbi of Harvard University. We are thrilled to feature a monthly choral Shabbat service with the stellar BMH-BJ Men’s Choir.
