Monday, April 13, 2026 • 26 Nisan 5786
6:45 PM - 9:00 PMFisher HallIn commemoration of Yom Hashoah, join us for a screening of Shttl with a talkback from the founding director of the Boulder Jewish Film Festival, Kathryn Bernheimer. SHTTL is a Yiddish-language film by Ady Walter, shot in a single, continuous take, that portrays one day in a Jewish shtetl (village) in Ukraine, just 24 hours before the Nazi invasion in June 1941, capturing its vibrant daily life, cultural debates, and simmering tensions, all while being filmed on the eve of a historical catastrophe that would wipe out such communities, making it a poignant look at a world on the brink of annihilation
