High Holy Day Child Care

Parents can leave their children with some of our amazing teachers during High Holy Day services. Babysitting will be provided for infants and toddlers and an educational program is available for children three to twelve years old. Children will be divided into classrooms based on age. Each classroom will have games and activities that relate to the High Holy Days, as well as a child friendly service.

Registration for child care has closed.

Selichot Night

Welcome the High Holy Day season by lifting your soul on Selichot night with Rabbi Chaitovsky and Cantor Goldstein. Starting with Kumzits and Conversation, our clergy will lead an interactive presentation featuring stories and spiritual melodies that are part and parcel of the yamim noraim season. Following Kumzits and Conversation we will all take part in a spiritually uplifting Selichot service.  Refreshments to follow the service.

Luluv, Etrog and Schach Order

BMH-BJ is making it is easy to fulfill the mitzvah or lulav and etrog by placing a bulk order through the synagogue where community members can order and pick up their materials through us.

This form is now closed.  For future reference, BMH-BJ sells lulav, etrog, and schach every year and we start taking orders by the end of August.  We hope you will come back next year to place an order.  In addition, if you or anyone you know is in need of a lulav and etrog to make a mitzvah over Sukkot, we invite all to attend our daily minyans in the Chapel where a lulav and etrog set is available for use by all attendees.  Please see our online calendar for exact times.  We wish you a Chag Sukkot Sameach.

You may collect your pre-ordered lulav, etrog and schach from BMH-BJ at the following times:

Friday, October 11 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
