10:00 AM - 11:00 AMZoomThe Forgotten Torah – The Sephardic Approach to Halakha, Jewish Life, and Community Leadership
Join Rabbi Haim Ovadia to explore the wide-ranging and interesting world of Sephardic tradition and its open approach to halacha, community, and leadership. We will meet some of the great Chachmei Sefarad. In the current climate of tension and factionalism, the Sephardic approach offers what many might see as a way forward for Jews of different backgrounds to find common ground. Rabbi Ovadia’s research focuses on finding practical solutions for halakhic problems, making Judaism accessible to all and bridging gaps within the Jewish people.
