Women's League

The Women's League will continue the tradition of providing support for the synagogue and a sisterhood for the women in our shul community. This group of dedicated women has been instrumental in providing the following programs to enhance the synagogue experience here at BMH-BJ:

• Social activities to benefit the congregation, with an emphasis on women's issues
• Financial support for mutually approved synagogue projects
• Volunteer participation with new synagogue activities when needed on an ad hoc basis
• Yom Kippur lunches for children and a congregational break-the-fast
• Yizkor Memorial Book
• Sukkot decorations and a special kiddush in the synagogue sukkah
• Purim carnival for the community to enjoy
• Passover assistance packages for community members in need
• Flowers for holidays
