Chesed Group

Chesed is kindness, caring, and providing help to others. This important Jewish value in action is a cornerstone of a Jewish life and our community life together. Doing things together and for each other as a family strengthens not only our community but our character.

The Chesed Group helps congregants as they and their families face challenge, illness or the death of a loved one.

We reach out via phone, correspondence, home visits, and shiva calls. For those who have special needs we try to accommodate them at Shul.

What can you do?

Join with our BMH-BJ community to do the holy work of chesed. Any amount of time or money donated to this cause will make a difference in the lives of others, as well as in your own life.

If you are interested in getting involved, please contact us!
